What is a barebone ?
Most of these small computers are sold without a specific configuration, they only have a motherboard, a case and a processor. This is called a Barebone, as opposed to a ready-to-use PC. It is up to you to define these components according to your needs. Therefore, a barebone is an expandable mini PC for all its components, except for its processor and motherboard.
A customized PC configuration:
You can configure them yourself in each product sheet and choose whether to have them assembled or not by our services. You can also buy them without configuration and provide the components yourself. They are very similar to desktop computers, and you have complete freedom to choose and install all components. The same goes for the operating system, which is compatible with both Linux and Windows.
As mentioned before, laptop components, especially RAM, are installed, so SODIMM is required. Storage is usually done on M.2 NVMe SSDs or 2.5-inch HDD/SSDs, if the computer's format allows it.
Can you have multiple screens on a mini PC?
Designed to accommodate between 2 and 4 4K screens, you can use it both for work and as a media center in your living room. You can watch movies in high quality and play music by pairing it with a smart speaker. Some NUCs come with SD card readers, which allow you to project photos directly onto a screen or projector.
